title: TriCanon User Guide
description: How to search scripture across the Bible, Tanakh, Quran, and Hadith, and how to read what TriCanon hands back.
---

TriCanon is a scripture research tool. You give it a passage, a word, a person, or a theme, and it returns the text itself plus a scholarly analysis in three parts: what it says, what it meant to the people who first heard it, and why it still matters.

It reads across four bodies of text in one search:

- **The Old Testament / Tanakh** — the Hebrew Bible, shared by Jewish and Christian traditions
- **The New Testament**
- **The Quran**, with Arabic text and tafsir
- **The Hadith** — 432 narrations from Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and Sunan Abu Dawud, with authenticity grades

There is no denominational agenda behind the results. Where Jewish, Christian, and Islamic readings diverge, the analysis says so and names the traditions rather than picking a winner.
